Matrix

Hackalot has its own self-hosted Matrix server at https://matrix.hackalot.nl. Each member has access via their LDAP credentials.

By default each member should automatically join the Hackalot channel in the Hackalot Space.

Server overview

We're running Synapse [1].

IRC bridge

The Hackalot channel in the Hackalot Space is bridged to the Hackalot IRC channel. Everything you say on Matrix will be shown on IRC, and everything from IRC is shown on the Matrix channel.

Server administration

The server is managed by phoenix and xesxen. The server configuration is at https://git.hackalot.nl/infra/hackalot-matrix-admin.
